The Westin Resort & Spa, Cancun

Fantastic service from all staff, but especially Said, at the breakfast cooking station. The hotel is clean, well maintained ( although a bit dated) and has a heated pool, which was great since the weather was a bit cooler. Breakfast was delicious, but the definite highlight was the service provided by the entire staff! The kids club was not open during regular hours during our stay, but they made an effort to open it for us so our kids could play. Great experience, we will be back!

This hotel is fantastic. Ritchie, Anna Banana, Alejandro, Manuel, Guillermo, all amazing! Perfect location by the bus stop. Lots of room by the pool and beach. We will be back!

I recently stayed here for 3 nights while stuck in Cancun because of weather. It was fabulous! My flight kept getting cancelled, so, each day I would check out of my room, book a new one, and check back in. I got to try 3 different styles of rooms, comfortable beds, locations on property and all were great. I had a manicure in the Spa (Annette) and loved it. The food was very tasty, big portions, and the staff were truly on it. The front desk staff was always helpful and all smiles. Even with my frustration of travel delays and being by myself, I still had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at The Westin.

Great location and plenty of pools and private ocean beach.

Beautiful, massive resort on the beach in Cancun. The room was clean and in great condition. The resort seemed well cared for overall. The food at Arena sports bar was good, but more tex-mex than authentic Mexican cuisine. The prices for food seemed high, but beat having to go back into town. The pool was noisy in the afternoon, but quieted down as the sun set - we were the only ones in the pool at one point. We brought a rental car and were happy that they had free parking. We were told where to park, but couldn't figure out any easy way to get in and out of the hotel from the parking lot. A couple helpful employees saw us wandering lost and loaded our suitcases onto a golf cart to drive us to a door to get into the building.

We travelled as a family with young children. Resort was beautiful, but may be a bit dated in some of the facilities. It is a beachfront property on the quieter side of hotel zone. Not a lot of nightlife in this side which is best for our trip. We visited in February, but still got a bit of Sargassum washing up the shore. The staff do their best to clean. The beach itself felt exclusive and safe with a lifeguard on duty. The waves on this side of hotel zone can be a bit strong, but we did not mind. The resort had 4 pools if the beach is not your thing. It was heated too so that felt nice. The hotel itself had its own set of activities to keep the guests entertained. No live music in the evening. we had restful sleep here. The hotel serves excellent breakfast buffet with lots of options. We enjoyed trying native mexican dishes freshlycooked. they have other restaurants in house as well but options can be limited. Location is very convenient as a short walk outside is the bus stop to go to downtown/shopping areas. a 10min walk outside, there is a convenience store. the staff are very knowledgeable and gave good advice where to get all our needs. The only comment we have is the checkin process. they adhere too much on their checkin time at 4pm despite us requesting an earlier time. they did however allow us to store our luggage while we enjoy the facilities. It was ok, but it was not very convenient if you have a toddler with you. overall, we had a great stay. we will book again

Worth it beautiful view nice staff. Ocean is clean. Worth the money... wave pool super fun and no body was riding it so had it all to or self...

Had a girls trip here and we felt safe and comfortable. Great hospitality, staff would come up to us asking if we have been enjoying our stay. Air conditioned. Waves were a bit strong up front but if you walk a little to your right they are so serene because of the wall. Great scenery. Relaxing and quiet. Cute restaurant with pretty views. Bus stop in front of the hotel to catch the $1 bus.
